The long-awaited conclusion of the James Harden saga has arrived. However, the journey, for Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers, was not an easy one. Throughout the past few months, Harden has not shied away from taking shots at the franchise and holding himself superior. Regardless, Harden is officially a Clipper. With just a few games into the season, the Sixers have moved on from their star. Philadelphia gets a bunch of wing players and draft assets, whereas the Clippers get another superstar-caliber player and a decluttered rotation.

Now, the next step is to find out how Harden will fit into the Clipper’s system; more importantly, with a bunch of star players. Well, before that, Harden clarifies one of his comments during his Philly stint, to probably hint at his aspirations and to clear fans of any doubt.

Recently, during his introductory press conference as a Clipper, Harden donned his new uniform. While talking about his future, he reflected on his time with the Sixers. While players usually express all the right sentiments in such situations, Harden used the stage to clarify one of his narratives. Following his remarks about feeling restricted during his time with Philly, Harden provided clarification; ultimately claiming that he is “the system.”

Harden’s tale seems to fall right in line with Doc Rivers’ take. He claimed that things in Philly took a wild turn when James Harden decided to shift gears. Harden wanted to start scoring more, rather than his role of being a benevolent point guard.

Nevertheless, it is time for Philly to look ahead to what lies on the horizon; Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid taking the lead. To kick things off, fans are already celebrating the culmination of the star duo.

Philly fans have already moved on

With the epic finale of the Harden trade and Tyrese Maxey’s meteoric rise to co-leadership for the 76ers, fans seem to bounce off the walls with excitement.

In the first three games of the season, Maxey is not just scoring; he’s virtually raining buckets. So far, Maxey is averaging 30 points per game. It is a significant leap from his previous season’s average of 20. And @JustEsBaraheni couldn’t resist sharing the Maxey mayhem with the world.

On the flip side, @Feezy_Hafeez shed light on Maxey’s consistency, highlighting his reliability as a star player.

Looking ahead, @LaurenMRosen predicted that this is just the tip of Tyrese’s iceberg. The fan believes that Tyrese’s surge will also shine through on the defensive side of the court.

On a lighter note, @PHLSixersNation chose to have some fun with James Harden’s recent comments. They humorously compared Tyrese Maxey to James Harden by writing, “Tyrese “I am the system” Maxey.”
