What followed against the Pacers was a basketball clinic. With Tyrese “the System” Maxey having a career night, the City of Brotherly Love saw their team improve to an 8-1 record and solidify the #1 spot in the East.

Kelly Oubre Jr. is down with a broken rib and injuries to his hip and right leg after he got struck by a car late on Saturday night. As per the Philly police, post-concussion, the car fled the scene. After the player was admitted to the hospital, it was not long before he was released with a “good-to-go” certificate. Kelly “Tsunami Papi” Oubre Jr. was, however, ruled out of the home game against the Pacers, citing the injury.
As per the authorities, the revaluation will be done after a 7-day duration with the possibility of returning as an observer on Tuesday, November 21. Although the SG is not doomed with a “season-ending” injury, the on-court effects can be worrisome. Oubre is under a one-year contract with Philly, and as per the ‘Washington Post’, the player is set to miss more than a couple of games.
However, his team didn’t let him feel left out by dedicating a massive win to him. While the former #15 pick was resting comfortably at home, as stated by Nick Nurse, a young guard was slaying on the hardwood. Tyrese Maxey, the Sixers’ replacement for James Harden, had the best game of his young career tonight.
Tyrese Maxey goes off against the Pacers

He scored 50 points, registered 5 assists, and collected 7 rebounds, making Harden’s departure seem less like a problem with every passing possession. And post-victory, the star said, “Man, this had nothing to do with me. This is all Kelly Oubre, man. We are praying for him. I love my dawg. I hope he gets well soon.”
