The 2017-18 Los Angeles Lakers were special. Although they finished 11th in the Western Conference rankings, the team was filled with young players with huge potential. One of them happened to be 2020 NBA champion Kyle Kuzma, who was a rookie coming out of Utah State University. He had a great rookie season and formed a great partnership with LeBron James, who joined the Lakers in his sophomore year.

Despite a heartbreaking end to his time with the Lakers, Kuzma regularly posts about his former team on social media platforms. A few hours ago, the Washington Wizards star took his fans back to the 2017-18 season.

This trade came right after Kuz played a huge role in giving LeBron James his fourth NBA title and the Lakers its 17th banner. Naturally, this left the player and fans heartbroken.
