The game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers ended up getting heated with players ready to fight. The Pacers, who were the finalists in the In-Season Tournament, may not have won the NBA Cup. But the team has been trying hard to make a push for one of the better records in the East.

As many teams aim to do so, the Pacers decided to take a more physical approach. So much so that this Pacers star went on to toss a 243 lbs heavy Giannis Antetokounmpo onto the ground.

Looking to score, Antetokounmpo charged with a head of steam. However, Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith went on to wrap The Greek Freak in his arms to slow him down as Giannis went up for the shot. This led to Giannis spinning around in his arm before being tossed to the floor.

Though Aaron may have been successful in slowing Giannis down, Antetokounmpo and the rest of the Bucks players quickly got furious. But nobody lost their cool the way Bucks forward Bobby Portis did.

Antetokounmpo was still on the floor as Nesmith was holding on to him. But within seconds, Bobby Portis came along and shoved Nesmith off of Giannis and charged at him with the intention of throwing hands.

The video clearly shows how livid Portis was after the play. Giannis Antetokounmpo, on the other hand, still managed to keep his cool during all this. The Greek Freak could be seen indicating to the bench not to come over so that things do not escalate further.

Was the intention to injure the Greek Freak?

The entire altercation was a rollercoaster ride of seconds. If you look at the play closely, Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith does wrap his arms around Giannis Antetokounmpo, but only to slow him down. Not to injure him.

However, the way Antetokounmpo hit the deck, it sure looked like Nesmith intended to do so. The only way to tell is how the Pacers forward held on to the seven-time All-Star to decrease the impact of the fall.
