Brandin Podziemski toured the Fiserv Forum with his father in 2018 when it first opened. Now, on Saturday, he stepped into the shoes of the biggest name in the arena, Stephen Curry. Podziemski was handed the point position in the absence of Curry. Despite the Milwaukee Bucks securing a 129-118 victory over the Golden State Warriors, Podziemski managed to impress. In a solid performance, he scored 23 points, second only to Jonathan Kuminga. Displaying remarkable efficiency with a 10-14 shooting record, he boasted a 75% success rate from the three-point line, sinking 3 of his 4 attempts while notching 10 rebounds.
Podziemski’s journey with the Warriors has been distinctive for a rookie. Drafted by the Warriors last summer, he has the privilege of learning from legends such as Steph, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Chris Paul. Now, in one of the standout games of his career, he shared a heartwarming moment that unfolded before the game.
