Taking his team to a victory would have been definitely a sweet moment for the Slovenian. But we are sure he also would not mind joining in the likes of LeBron James and Michael Jordan in the history books as well. Since that is exactly what he did scoring 44 points with six rebounds and six assists in the 144-126 win.
Since 1976-77 (NBA-ABA merger), Luka Doncic joins LeBron James and Michael Jordan as the only players in NBA History with more than 30 games with 40+ points at the age of 25 or younger:
Michael Jordan – 52 games
LeBron James – 36 games
Luka Doncic – 31 games https://t.co/KHfQG3U4Gp— NBA History (@NBAHistory) November 11, 2023
With his 31st 40-point game, Luka joins the two legends; and he did all this before turning 25! Ever since he was drafted into the team in 2018, Doncic has been slowing etching a mark for himself in Dallas. In his sixth season now, fans are curious to see how far he will go this regular season and later into the postseason.
