RJ Barrett has been a member of the New York Knicks since his debut in the NBA. However, they traded the Canadian athlete to his local team, the Toronto Raptors, after he aided them for four years. This was not just an incredible moment for him, but it was also an emotional one for Raptors’ fans. He just missed a double-double on his debut but proved to be an incredible addition to the Raptors squad. However, the win against the Cavs was no cakewalk for the Raptors.
A close call for the Raptors
The Raptors had to hold off a late comeback attempt by the tough Cleveland Cavaliers. However, because of several unforced mistakes, the Cavs slipped in the last minutes of the game and failed to win against the Raptors. Although the Raptors won, there were many areas for improvement, and most notably in their defense.

The team recognizes the need to improve its defense to overcome the difficulties provided by their Eastern Conference opponents. Nonetheless, the Raptors won thanks to their strong and physical play, as well as the incredible performances by Barrett and Quickley.
