Draymond Green is sidelined for a couple of weeks following his repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts. As per the league sources, he was expected to work with his team and the NBA to undergo a required process of counseling before he returned to the court. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of the ESPN Suspended Star, is periodically participating in virtual meetings in addition to his mandatory individual counseling sessions, which include team, NBA, and NBPA officials. The process is designed to chart his progress toward reinstatement.

But this recent update has stirred up the NBA world and fans aren’t really happy with this elaborative process of measuring Green’s progress.

Fans aren’t happy with too much scrutiny

Green must fulfill certain league rules and conditions before his suspension is lifted after his recent act of punching Jusuf Nurkić. Although it is understood that criteria must be met to show aggressive behavior, some fans are questioning this elaborate anger management procedure. One fan even said that the league is treating Green “like a threat to society”.

But not everyone shared the same sentiment. One fan believes that we should stop treating Green like he is a victim.

Some fans were encouraging, though.

Another fan showed support and hopes Green comes back as a changed man.

Another fan noted that it’s not going to be an easy change and might take years.
