There’s a new power couple on the scene, pop superstar Taylor Swift and the Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce.

The couple is the talk of the town not just with the fans but with also other celebrities and star players. Trae Young, who is worth over $215M, recently joined in and declared them as a ‘couple of the year’. The NBA All-Star himself got married this year with his long-time girlfriend. 

Taylor and Travis fire up the viewership and break the NFL record

Taylor and Travis were rumored to be dating in September 2023, but neither of them confirmed or denied the relationship. A source told People magazine they were “hanging out” and “having fun,” but that it was still in the early stages. The rumors started when Kelce was spotted at one of Swift’s concerts. Kelce’s brother Jason joked that the dating rumors were “100 percent true“, but he later clarified that he was joking. 

Recently, Swift made sure to miss a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets. Kansas’s’ victory over New York was ranked as the most-watched Sunday NFL show since the Super Bowl LVII. Approximately 27 million viewers watched the Chiefs’ 23-20 win over the Jets.

Newlywed Trae Young joins the talk of the town

While Swift and Kelce are enjoying their newfound relationship, Young has been basking in marital bliss. He got married to his college sweetheart Shelby Miller in July. The event was a lavish ceremony in the Bahamas. On his podcast, Young called Taylor and Travis the “Punk couple of the year”. 

While many fans are calling the couple a rom-com, Taylor and Travis have not really opened up publicly about what they really are to each other. As the limelight stays on them, at least what has been confirmed is that they are at the ‘casual hanging out juncture’.
