As the Raptors forward averages close to 23 points per game, it is no surprise that there are several interested buyers for Pascal Siakam in the market. The rumored candidates for the trade currently are the Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, and Sacramento Kings. So, after listing out all the candidates, Nichols asked Ball as to which team does he think is best suited for the former NBA star.

He said, “Obviously the Mavericks. I think he’ll fit in great with that team with Luka and Kyrie. You know like kinda running the show, him being the third complimenting piece. Obviously, that fits well on paper but I can see him slide into like a OKC type of team and kind of completing out their roster.” Siakam would be a great addition to the Loner Star State, as they are looking for a third star in their team. Currently, all the attacking pressure is on Doncic, and with Siakam’s offensive prowess, the team would benefit tremendously.

What is the Raptors’ plan of action?

Toronto Raptors and the New York Knicks struck a deal that has shocked the entire NBA community. The Big Apple sent their star guards, RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley, and a second-round draft pick to the Raptors. In exchange, they received a forward OG Anunoby, point guard Malachi Flynn, and center Precious Achiuwa. These moves indicate that the Raptors are restructuring their roster around young star Scottie Barnes, perhaps leaving Siakam as the odd man out.

The Raptors, however, are not showing any signs of extending his contract because, according to reports, Siakam would want to enter unrestricted free agency this summer if a new contract with the Raptors cannot be agreed. Due to this, there are trade speculations surrounding the talented forward, and as the deadline comes closer, the fate of Pascal Siakam and the Raptors is in the spotlight.
