The Slim Reaper Kevin Durant has been on a roll in this season as he surpassed two NBA legends on the all-time scoring charts. Notably, the Phoenix Suns superstar has achieved both feats in a matter of a few days since the start of the 2023-24 season. Following Hakeem Olajuwon, KD surpassed Elvin Hayes in the scoring leaderboard during the Tuesday night game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

This stat leaves Durant and LeBron James as the only active players in the league to hold a spot in the top-20 scoring leaders. Moreover, the Suns forwards can cut it short to the top-10 list in no time as he is only inches closer to the 10th spot.
