Josh Hart of the New York Knicks became a crowd favorite as soon as he stepped onto the court with Jalen Brunson. The NBA veteran’s long-time wish to be part of the Knicks was fulfilled when they signed him on a four-year $81 million contract. Primarily known for his shooting skills, Hart has proved to be skilled in defense and rebound.
His initial run with the Lakers was impressive for a rookie, but unfortunately, he sustained injuries, leaving him sidelined. From there, he went on to play for New Orleans, and Portland, before landing in New York. For each team he played with, Hart left a mark. And now, he has done the same with the Knicks and their fans.

It is an understatement to say that Hart won over the New York fans. But it’s not just the Knicks fans who love him. The netizens have equal, if not more, love for the innocent father that he is.
His most viral ‘breastmilk’ post got him more attention than he wagered for. Much more.
That particular stunt almost cost him his friendship with Jalen Brunson as well. But the boys are back together and in the latest hilarious fan video, we can see Hart promptly throwing Jalen under the bus. “Yo go & get him Jalen Brunson’s right there.”

Though Hart gave a comical response to the fan’s question about points, his stats with the Knicks are promising. After shooting 30.4% from the deep with the Blazers, Hart has improved to 51.9% from 3-point range during his time with the Knicks.
See? Potential. But there was a major instance earlier in the year that got Josh Hart’s name tattooed in New York.
New York’s love for Hart is hard-earned
Josh’s love for the Knicks is not simply because he got to check off that on his bucket list. His love for the City of Dreams is also because of his own personality which integrates just as well with it. NYC’s connection to the dream city is because New Yorkers are known for their hustle and grit.
But what really got the Knicks fans wholehearted support was the conference games. The Knicks’ nine-game losing streak to the Nets ended this February when Josh Hart scored a season-high 27 guaranteeing their place in the playoffs. His response after the 124-106 win delighted the fans worldwide,
“Y’all know what the fu** it is. This is our f*****g city.”ADVERTISEMENT
