Lakers LeBron James launched his own tequila brand, Lobos 1707. Founded by Diego Osorio, the brand is backed heavily by their pivotal investor, James. All was hunky-dory for The King until the $800,000,000 WWE legend, Dwayne Johnson, disrupted the spirit industry with his own Teremana Tequila.

LeBron James flexes his elite Reposado tequila
While the Lobos 1707 has some catching up to do, it’s certainly established itself as an elite spirit. In the annual San Francisco World Spirits Competitions (SFWSC), also known as the Oscars’ of the Spirits world, Lobos 1707 Reposado tequila left its mark. Crafted from a century old-recipe and proofed in sherry barrels, the Lobos Reposado won the double gold award.

The billionaire, LeBron James, is a proud Lobos investor and was seen flexing the tequila on his Instagram, earlier today.
James said, “Nothing better than a Lobos night!!” and asked a crucial $45 question, “Who’s having more fun than us!!” While the answer to this rhetorical question is apparent, James’ brand is taking the tequila industry by storm. Priced at just $44.99, the Lobos Reposado has clearly triumphed over Teremana in terms of taste. So, it seems like James’ tequila is ready to take over The Rocks’ Teremana.
