ESPN turned a lot of heads after they released their list of the Top 100 players in the NBA. The list was curated by a panel of said NBA experts. But the NBA world seemed to disagree with the absurd rankings of many superstars. Superstars Kyrie Irving and Russell Westbrook were two players who felt highly disrespected by where they were put on ESPN’s rankings. Uncle Drew was ranked 34th on the list, and fans were not happy about that assessment.
A former NBA player and Nets legend also showed his discontent with Kyrie’s ranking and ripped through the “Bullsh*t” ESPN Top 100 list.

Nets Legend furious at Kyrie Irving’s ESPN ranking
NBA legends Kenyon Martin, Gilbert Arenas, and Rashad McCants discussed the controversial Top 100 Players list by ESPN on Gil’s Arena. Nets icon Kenyon Martin was in disbelief at Kyrie being ranked 34th on the list. “Show me 33 people better than Kyrie Irving in the NBA.” Martin said. Kyrie Irving is 31 years old and in the middle of his prime. He played at an elite level last season, averaging 27.1 points for Brooklyn and 27 points for the Dallas Mavericks after being traded mid-season.
Kyrie might have dropped in ESPN’s rankings because of his off-court controversies last season, but that does not deny the fact that he is still one of the best guards in the NBA. Kenyon Martin called ESPN’s list “Bullsh*t” as it was not an accurate depiction of the talent in the NBA. The NBA legend got even more furious when he addressed how ESPN wildly disrespected Russell Westbrook.

Kenyon Martin Reacts to the Russell Westbrook Disrespect
After questioning ESPN about Kyrie’s rankings, Martin brought up another superstar who has been highly disrespected in the Top 100 list. Former MVP Russell Westbrook was ranked 94th on the list, dropping 29 spots from last year’s rankings. The NBA legend was livid about the Westbrook disrespect, “Show me f**king 93 other people better than Russell Westbrook in the NBA.”
Even though Westbrook is 34 years old and past his prime, it is absurd to think that there are 93 players better in the league than him. He is still a solid 16-point scorer and has the ability to impact the game with his passion and skills at any given moment. Westbrook has struggled to find a permanent team to call home for the last few seasons. But that does not mean he has lost his touch.
