The #1 pick in the 2015 draft was the subject of mockery about a month ago. Karl-Anthony Towns made some claims on a podcast that led NBA fans to roast the big man extensively on social media. Fans were not happy with the three-time All-Star’s most recent statement of saving one of his fingers for a ring out of proportion. However, this claim was made after the Denver Nuggets won their first-ever NBA championship in franchise history.?

En route to their franchise’s first-ever championship win, the Nuggets faced KAT and the Timberwolves in round 1. Minnesota was defeated in 6 games despite a strong performance from the no. 32 and his teammate, Anthony Edwards. A few months later, Karl-Anthony Towns hopped on Patrick Beverley?s podcast. And he certainly wasn?t impressed with the Nuggets’ championship run.
