With players stepping up their game and spectators shoring up their support, the WNBA has come of age over the past few years. Better performances and prospects have created an apparent change. But then someone like Liz Cambage deflates the ‘make-believe’ league image by digging up the polemic past and the casual culture.
Liz Cambage is a former WNBA player who was the second overall pick in the 2011 draft by the Tulsa Shick. The 6?9 center has played numerous years in the league and is currently playing overseas with the Maccabi Bnot Ashdod of the Israeli Female Basketball Premier League.

Liz Cambage is a decorated WNBA player with numerous All-Star appearances. She has also made plenty of WNBA First and Second teams as well.
Recently, Liz Cambage sat down with Taylor Rooks for an interview on Bleacher Report?s YouTube channel. The former L.A. Sparks center talked about numerous aspects of the league and women?s sports. ?I remember being on court that game,” Cambage said, visibly frustrated with some of her teammates during her time in the league. “I had some friends in Vegas that night as well. Remember being on the court and just like a few disrespectful teammates yelling at me because they don?t know how to throw a lob pass to me in the post.?
Cambage went on to throw shade at her teammates for not being able to complete a simple entry post pass to her.?

The WNBA may have made some strides over the last few years but Liz Cambage?s interview denotes that there are still quite a few kinks that need to be worked out.?Cambage wasn?t just annoyed and frustrated with her teammates.
She also went on to blame the coaches and the coaching staff during her sitdown with Taylor Rooks. She said, ?Our coaching staff doesn?t want to teach them how to use a post player like me.?

Liz then mentioned a few more stories about altercations with her own teammates, leading her to a trip to the bench. That is when she decided not to continue playing in the WNBA anymore.
