The Lakers destroyed the Rockets on Saturday with a 107-97 victory on their home court. However, what stood out as more interesting than the game was the heated verbal exchange between LeBron James and Ime Udoka, the Head Coach of the Rockets.

Following the exchange that went down in the fourth quarter, HC Udoka was ejected from the game. Both were handed technical fouls, however, Udoka had to be taken out as he already had a tech foul to his name from an earlier game. As fans, we wonder what was actually said between the two men, and now let’s take a look at what we think went down.

From what it appears, it started with Coach Udoka calling out Bron using a derogatory name that is still unclear, and the King snaps back with, “We all grown men. Don’t use that word so loosely.” Udoka shows no remorse as he replies, “Yeah I said it.” However, LeBron James is adamant that Udoka stops using that word so casually. Udoka doesn’t hold back and replies, “What you gon’ do bout what I said? Walking over here like you gon’ do something. Soft a** boy.

After this, the ref steps in, serves them both with tech fouls and with a hand gesture, ejects the Coach from the game. Funnily enough, after the entire ordeal, Bron said that the whole exchange stemmed from the two talking about how much they enjoyed Thanksgiving. Needless to say, he handled the situation like a pro on and off the court.

They didn’t like what they heard

Houston’s HC Udoka, on the other hand, said Bron and him were just having “some conversation and they (the refs) didn’t like what they heard.” Well, there doesn’t seem to be some deep-rooted beef between the two as we now know that it was just heat-of-the-moment reactions.

In the end, the game was an easy win for the Lakers, with a lot of intense moments in the final quarter. Bron earned 16 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds across 35 minutes in the game. The star of the show was Anthony Davis who contributed a whopping 27 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 assists across 37 minutes.
