Still, the 4-time champion coach put the focus back on the purpose. “We are trying to entertain basketball fans,” he stated before adding, “That’s the business,” explaining the nature of the NBA.

Steve prioritized the viewing experience as he wanted to give “fans the opportunity to come out and see our guys play”. He quickly jumped on to the most discussed issue of the potential health concerns because of it. Despite three of his four players aged above 30, Kerr backed the league’s intentions. The Warriors’ head coach highlighted, “Injuries are a part of the game,” pointing out his “plan on complying with the league’s rules”. On his first day back in the Bay Area, the serial winner let his feelings known to the world as the fans await one thing.
