Initially, the majority of the NBA fans were expecting him to be a rotation player at this stage of his career. So, this news has irked a lot of Dubs fans as it came as a disappointment for them for various reasons.

The former Phoenix Suns star has joined the sixth franchise of his career in search of a championship ring. CP3, a veteran of the game, has reached the twilight of his playing days. Thus, the fans viewed his inclusion on the roster as an addition of experience to the young bench of the Warriors. But the management may have other plans.

So, a backcourt duo of the Point God and the Splash Brother, at least at the beginning of the season, may start for the Dubs. This would result in one of them slotting in as a shooting guard for the majority parts of the game.
