Giannis uncertain for FIBA 2023 World Cup

The 2023 FIBA World Cup is scheduled from August 25 to September 10. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s name has been seen listed in Greece’s roster. However, his availability for the tournament remains uncertain. After recently undergoing a knee cleanup procedure, his national team status is in muddy water.

Antetokounmpo, despite his surgery, remains focused on actively participating in the 2023 FIBA World Cup. He is undergoing constant rehabilitation. Furthermore, his participation in Nike’s tour to China hints at his optimum fitness because if he were unhealthy, Nike wouldn’t put his health at risk. However, according to the FIBA-NBA agreement, he must receive clearance before competing in the tournament.
