In a recent episode of the Pat Bev Podcast, LeBron’s former teammate Patrick Beverley voiced his opinion on the controversy surrounding LeBron’s shot against the Timberwolves. He said, “Yes, it’s two, great call…. I think he knew it was a two. I think he just had to be mad cause they call. But rules are rules, it was a two.”

Although Beverley said that the shot was two with conviction, many fans and analysts would disagree with his take. The controversial call by the referees has created a passionate debate about the NBA’s review systems. With the recent rise in dubious calls and controversial decisions, many fans have proposed a revision of the NBA’s replay and review protocols.

However, a change in the future wouldn’t reinstate LeBron’s clutch three-pointer. Due to the dubious decision, the Lakers succumbed to yet another devastating defeat. Following the match, a livid LeBron voiced his frustrations. He said, “It’s obviously a three. My foot is behind the line.
