The 37-year-old bought a purple Rolls-Royce a few years back, resembling the skin color of Thanos, his favorite Marvel character. The $500k worth of car, named the Dwightmobile was one of the most lucrative assets in his collections. So, after winning the NBA ring, he paid tribute to both Thanos and his championship by blending the two into one.
The center joined forces with LeBron in the Los Angeles Lakers to win the 2020 championship. After that, Howard replaced the Rolls-Royce logo of the car with a replica of the NBA championship trophy. To start the car, anyone wearing the championship ring just needs to put it in the vicinity of the replica trophy. He recently uploaded a clip demonstrating the entire process with the caption of, “Unfortunately not everyone can drive it”.

His slight dig at his critics came as a showcase of his hard work. The former Laker had to wait for over 15 years to finally achieve his dream. The pain of unfulfillment was swept away by the joy of reaching the top.
