Following a thriller against the Sacramento Kings, the Golden State Warriors once again treat fans to a spectacular performance. This time against the Houston Rockets. Despite marking Draymond Green’s first game of the season, he was limited to a mere 21 minutes on the court. Even though fans would have loved to see Draymond in his full persona, it opened door for even greater sight; a complete Stephen Curry take over on the game.

Regardless, throughout the first half, Curry’s performance appeared to be nothing more than ordinary. By halftime, he had only amassed 3 points. Little did anyone know, he was reserving the best for the critical moments of the game. When the final buzzer sounded, Steph had contributed a remarkable 24 points, 6 assists, and 7 rebounds to secure the victory.

As the fourth quarter unfolded, the Rockets appeared poised to pull off an upset. However, Stepen Curry came up with an electrifying run to dash their hopes. Curry sank three consecutive three-pointers, swiftly wresting control of the game from the Rockets. In a spectacular highlight, he left Dillon Brooks utterly bewildered with his on-ball wizardry, only to calmly drain another three right in Brooks’ face.

During the post-game interview, Steph was probed about his sensational fourth-quarter display. Sporting a smile, he responded, “Well, we know what he’s about and his reputation. I dont get caught up in that, I just play basketball.”?

In a hard-fought battle, the Warriors emerged victorious with a final score of 106 to 95. During the last six minutes of the game, Curry unleashed a scoring spree; notching 14 points, 12 of them coming off back-to-back threes.

Klay Thompson makes history

While Curry was busy containing Dillon Brooks in the duel, Klay Thompson achieved a significant milestone. The other half of the ‘Splash Brothers’ secured the 10th spot in NBA’s list for regular season three-pointers made. He surpassed Jamal Crawford for the spot during the game’s second quarter.

Despite already being considered the greatest shooter after Curry, Klay’s presence in the list solidifies his status. Furhremore, it took Jamal Crawford 21 seasons to amass his three-point tally, while Thompson achieved the same feat in just 12 seasons.
