Despite not fielding their full arsenal, the Phoenix Suns have been pocketing one victory after another. Although their depth is being tested in the absence of Bradley Beal and Devin Booker, the team has been taking care of business until now. The Suns are scheduled to lock horns with the big men, the San Antonio Spurs, in the Footprint Center tonight. The Suns are going strong this season, winning two of their three opening games. On the other hand, the Spurs are coming off a humiliating 40-point defeat against the Los Angeles Clippers. They have won only one game in their three games so far, with generational prospect Victor Wembanyama in the fold.

The Suns have been riding high even without Beal and Booker under Kevin Durant. Tonight’s anticipation lingers with burning questions: Is tonight the night we see Beal make his season debut? Will Devin Booker take the court after a two-game absence?

Beal has missed three straight regular-season games due to a lingering back ailment. He only played two preseason games with the Suns before he tweaked his back. On the other hand, Booker made his season debut in the season opener against the Golden State Warriors, leading the team to a victory with his spectacular 32-point performance.

However, he was then sidelined for two games after he suffered a left mid-foot sprain during the team?s opening-night victory.

According to Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic, Beal will not suit up for his fourth straight game due to the same back injury that has been troubling him since preseason. However, he is expected to return on Thursday in a rematch against the Spurs. Booker, on the other hand, is questionable for tonight’s matchup. The two stars were spotted doing light post-practice work during media viewing and are expected to take the court soon.
