The star shooting guard Devin Booker plays a pivotal part in the Suns squad. The three-time All-Star, however, missed the first three matches of the season due to injury. He made a return in the Suns’ second match against the San Antonio Spurs. Scoring 31 points, with 9 rebounds, and 13 assists, he was generally in form throughout the match.

However, he was rested in the Sixers match due to an ankle sprain. The Suns eventually lost the match. Can Booker make a comeback tonight against the Detroit Pistons?

Earlier, before the Sixers match, coach Vogel opened up about Booker‘s availability in the squad. ?Book?s out today,? said Vogel. The injuries are not letting go of Booker, it seems.

?He has some soreness in the ankle and it?s a quick turnaround. This tip-off is 36 hours from when the game ended the other day. It?s a lot like a back-to-back, and he is coming off that ankle injury, and there was soreness, so he?s going to be out today,??he said.

As there is no official update from the Suns’ management as of yet, Booker is expected to sit out. Apart from Book, the Suns’ newly acquired Bradley Beal also sits out. The responsibility burdens on Kevin Durant’s shoulders once again.

The Suns’ possible turnaround?

The Suns stepped down into the 13th position in the Western Conference league table. They won two matches and lost 4. Things are not going as planned for ‘The Slim Reaper’ and co. The Suns’ roster was considered among one of the best. Two consecutive losses against the Spurs, and the following loss against the 76ers took them to that position.

The Phoenix Suns have enough firepower in their squad, which can explode anytime, sailing them upwards. But it is high time that they step up their performance. The injuries are also a reason for concern for the team.
