The Phoenix Suns games are ones that everyone looks forward to. Yes, because of the Booker-Durant-Beal trio, which naturally forms another Big Three. Since the regular season began, it seems like either Devin Booker or Bradley Beal has been restricted to the sidelines. The Suns’ wins have been more of an on-and-off kind of routine. Their last game was a 120-106 victory over the Detroit Pistons. Durant took the lead with 41 points, with Gordon following at 21.
There wasn’t much of a noteworthy game from anyone. And yet, they managed to subdue the very physical Pistons. Still to make his NBA debut, Beal’s presence on the court will certainly make things better for Durant.
Can we finally see Bradley Beal on-court for the Suns vs Bulls matchup?

Beal’s lower back spasms are what kept him away for seven games since the season opener. Phoenix fans are more than ready to see one of the NBA’s most prolific shooters with one of the best starting lineups ever. And on that note, all signs point to Bradley Beal making it to the court for the Suns vs Bulls game tonight. Coach Vogel has said as much – “Looks good, just got to make sure and see how he feels from the work today.”

Looking at a few of the earlier videos posted, he certainly looks ready to do some damage. Drafted by the Wizards in 2012 as the third overall pick (Round 1), Beal has spent his entire time with DC. The 3x All-Star was Washington’s key player and though it was an emotional goodbye, Bradley Beal was ready to take his game to the next level.
When Beal was acquired by the Suns, Ishbia’s wish to clinch a title that had been evading them for so long came close to fruition. Beal is also in the same line of thinking. For a player of such immense skills, a ring has always been just a looming object in the distance for Beal.
Can the Suns make Beal’s wish for a ring come true?
Bradley Beal has been very excited about his move to the Suns and he hasn’t held back on sharing this with the world. After signing the deal, he has talked about how playing with two Hall of Famers is going to push him in ways he’s never been able to do with the Wizards. And that’s true.

From being relied on entirely to stack points to being able to share that workload is a blessing in itself. The 2022-23 season saw Beal scoring 23.2 points per game on 50.6% field goal 36.5% from 3-point range. As mentioned above, Beal’s consistent scoring is his foremost weapon. A sharpshooter by nature, he scored a career-best 31.3 points in the 2020-21 season and more than 22 points in the last seven seasons.
Beal’s ability to shoot 3-pointers will be an added advantage for the Suns who have struggled in that area. The 2022-23 season saw the Suns at 24th rank in 3-pointers with 35.5% and though the figure has increased to 38.1% this season, the last 3 games show a marked decrease – 34.5%. Beal is a 37.2% 3-point shooter (2022-23 season, StatMuse), and having him on the court will prove to be a boon for the team.

Now all that’s left for the Suns is to play. If all the pieces align just right around the Suns, Mat Ishbia and Bradley Beal will get their wishes. And the franchise, their first-ever title.
