The NBA offseason has certainly not gone well for the Philadelphia 76ers. The team has been dealing with the antics of James Harden and the friction he has had with President Daryl Morey. Harden had been vocal about his feelings towards Morey which resulted in a massive fine from the league. Yet, some NBA insiders don?t seem to be on board with it.

James Harden made some public statements about his displeasure with the 76ers franchise, especially their president. And the league decided to slap Harden with a $100,000 fine for it. So, why is the NBPA siding with The Beard on this?

James Harden caused quite a stir this offseason. Not only did he slam Daryl Morey but he also requested a trade out of Philadelphia. And when his trade requirements were not met, Harden took it upon himself to make things hell for the 76ers franchise.

Recently, Brain Windhorst sat down with two more NBA Insiders on the Hoops Collective Podcast. The three went on to discuss the James Harden scenario at length and even went on to talk about the fine he was slapped with.

As the conversation went on, one Insider said, ?Suddenly, Adam Silver wants to get tough. You didn?t do anything when James Harden was partying in the middle of the freaking pandemic during training camp, hanging out with Lil Baby in Atlanta and Las Vegas.?

?Working out with those personal trainers who were so entertaining. You didn?t do anything when he blatantly quit on the Nets and forced a trade then. Now you want to get tough??

What will happen to James Harden?

The argument made by the Insider on the podcast did have some intriguing points. Why did Adam Silver not do anything before and why does he want to act tough now? Has it reached the boiling point of Silver or is it something else?

Regardless of the reason, Harden was fined a whopping $100,000 for his comments regarding the Philadelphia 76ers organization on the 14th and 17th of August.

But on the other hand, the NBPA seems to favor Harden as they plan on filing a grievance to an arbitrator disputing NBA?s $100K fine.
