Following the change in head coach, the Milwaukee Bucks have had a shaky stretch. The team lost five of their last seven games under their new HC Doc Rivers. Keeping the current slump in consideration, the Bucks were expected to bite the dust against the mighty Denver Nuggets tonight. But, Giannis Antetokounmpo & Co. has a different story lined up for the fans.
Giannis took charge in the first half, dropping 26 points with 9 rebounds in 16 minutes. He was supported by Bobby Portis with 11 points on the bench. With this firepower, the Bucks went on to take a 16-point lead at halftime. Moreover, The Greek Freak might break out further and beat the franchise record of 64 points.

Moreover, the current shaky stretch recalled that the Wisconsin team’s dominant run under their former coach, Adrian Griffin. They had the opportunity to clinch the top spot in the East. Now, they have slipped down a rank in this stretch and are currently in the 3rd seed.
On the other hand, Nikola Jokić replied with 23 points, while there wasn’t much support from his teammates, leaving it all to the second half. Notably, the Nuggets could turn things around at any given point in time.

The Bucks began from where they left in the first half. Giannis hijacked the paint once again, dropping 9 points in the third quarter. The home side ballooned up the lead by 28 points, stepping off the court at the end of the third quarter.
The Nuggets didn’t have much help from their lethal point guard, Jamal Murray, as he only 3 points in an 18-minute play. Moreover, he didn’t step on the court after the first half.
The Nuggets pretty much gave up around the 6-minute mark in the last quarter, taking out Jokic, Michael Porter Jr., and Aaron Gordon off the court. The game went into garbage time with the bench players taking the attack to the visitors. Following a spectacular showcase of domination, the Bucks ended the game with a blowout 112-95 win.
