Winning four titles in nine seasons, the Golden State Warriors have cemented themselves as one of the greatest NBA dynasties. However, their recent 2022 chip was a little more special. After missing the playoffs back-to-back in 2020 and 2021, the Dubs made a historical comeback to clinch the title from the Boston Celtics. The Finals saw Stephen Curry delivering several memorable plays and averaging 31.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 43.7 percent. He also earned his first Finals MVP award that year.

However, despite putting together a record-breaking performance against the Celtics, Jayson Tatum snubbed Curry in the list of most skilled players in the NBA. His snub did not sit right with the fans, as they took to social media to express their discontentment.

After a 14-year championship drought, the Celtics came close to their title dream in the year 2022. They won two of the first three games of the series. However, Stephen Curry then single-handedly carried the Warriors to victory, leveling the series at 2-2. He tallied a mind-numbing 43 points and 10 rebounds in Game 4 en route to his Finals MVP award.

Surprisingly, Jayson Tatum was not impressed, as he failed to include Stephen Curry in his list of the most skilled players in the league. To no one’s surprise, he thinks he is the best player, therefore marking out the first position for himself. Whether this is true or not is up for debate, but every athlete needs to be confident if they are to survive in this competitive industry. And the list goes – Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Kyrie Irving, Paul George, and Devin Booker in that order.

The fans were not satisfied with the Stephen Curry snub, as they took to social media to berate the 4-time All-Star for still being upset over the 2022 finals loss.

Therefore, his not being on the list of most skilled players is sure to irk the Dubsnation. One fan expressed how offensive it is to not include Curry in the list.

Some fans pointed out the 2022 finals ouster, referring to Curry as a “nightmare” for opponents after his explosive 43-point game.
