Stephen Curry Unveils His Conversation With Scott Foster After Chris Paul Ejection: ?That?s the Part Messed With Me the Most?

The Phoenix Suns defeated the Dubs by a score of 123-115. Despite Klay Thompson and Steph Curry’s valiant efforts, Kevin Durant and co. had the last laugh. But the match had more drama that involved the former Suns player Chris Paul, who was guarding the Warriors’ defense last night.

CP’s return to the Footprint Center did not last long, as he was ejected before the second quarter ended. He was fouled on a double technical that led to an exit, leaving the Warriors helpless at that point. CP was indeed frustrated and had a moment with referee Scott Foster. Apart from Paul, his teammate Steph Curry went on to have a talk with the referee. Wonder what got Curry involved in this? What did he tell Foster?

Steph Curry shares his conversation with referee Scott Foster. In an X (formerly Twitter) post by the ‘Warriors on NBCS’, the video is put up. Curry said, “I told Scott after he ejected him (CP), it’s like there are certain situations where I know players overstep. That all happens a lot. There’s time that you kind of you know have to back off, but when both are engaging like, I don’t like that.”

Curry added, “That’s the part that messed with me the most… watching it, just like two guys talking you know, speaking their truths. Let’s just play basketball.”

We all know how determined Curry is on the court, and also the fact that he hates to lose. It is evidently clear that the legend is not pleased with the situation that cost points for the team.

Chris Paul’s history with Scott Foster

The controversies are not getting off the Warriors. A few days back we had Draymond Green and Klay Thompson ejected after a brawl in the Wolves match. And now suddenly, we hear about Chris Paul’s prolonged history with referee Scott Foster. CP himself addressed the issue at the post-match media conference.

However, CP refused to share details about that. He just said that it is personal, and they had a situation a few years back. CP said, ?We had a situation some years ago and it?s personal. The league knows, everybody knows. There?s been a meeting and all that. It?s just a situation with my son. I?m OK with a ref saying whatever, just don?t use a tech to get your point across.” This was during the time CP played for the LA Clippers, though.
