Diving into this subject, rapper Charlamagne tha God talked to Andrew Schultz on their show The Brilliant Idiots. When discussing the whole Johnson-Curry matter, the rapping phenom dished his take.

He names his top-five list with Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry, LeBron James, and Magic Johnson in this sequence. He then says, “Even though I got Kobe at number two, Steph is still the second-greatest player of all time”. And, he called the disrespect for Kobe Bryant “unbelievable”.

Then he returned to the subject of Curry. He says, “Curry has the chance to go number two all time. Him and Magic is definitely in the conversation. It’s almost disrespectful to say Steph is a better Point Guard than Magic. I’m old school, so I think of Point Guard as a passer.”

Then he goes on about Johnson’s resume, admiring his accomplishments, “Five NBA championships, three NBA Finals MVPs, two MVPs, beat HIV one-on-one”.

This praise comes years after his hilarious exchange with the charming personality four years ago.
