In the latest episode of Podcast P with Paul George, Klay Thompson admitted talking to Chris Paul over texts after the deal received confirmation. His added excitement fuels by the fact that he would now have a teammate that he can beat in golf. He said, “Playing Andre and Steph isn’t that fun half the time,” addressing how difficult he finds it to defeat Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala on the links.

Klay claimed himself to be a fan of CP3 as the Splash Brother is “excited to pick his brain”. He then reminisced about the time when Chris ran the show against Kobe Bryant‘s Los Angeles Lakers. “I remember for five straight possessions, he got the ball screen, and he scored on every single player on the court,” Klay said, reflecting on the ‘Point God’s’ legacy.
