“So Deceitful”: Years Before $160,000,000 Riches, Stephen Curry Resorted to Lying to Future Wife Ayesha Just to Impress Her

When fans look at NBA superstar Stephen Curry, they believe the 4-time Champion can do everything. He is a maestro on the basketball court and can cook defenders at will. Even outside basketball, Steph is an elite golf player, a successful businessman, and a great father. Being married to his wife, Ayesha Curry for over 12 years, Steph has proven to be a loyal and loving husband. But years before $160,000,000 riches when the couple first started dating, Chef Curry had to lie to his future wife in an attempt to woo her. Unfortunately, Ayesha caught Steph red-handed.

Ayesha Curry revealed how Steph’s own sister helped her catch the NBA Superstar’s deceitful lie.

Ayesha caught Stephen Curry red-handed

Ayesha Curry was a guest on The Real Daytime show, where she exposed her husband Stephen Curry’s big lie. She talked about the time when the couple first started dating and went out on one of their first dates. Steph and Ayesha went to Hollywood Boulevard to have Chai Tea Latte on their date. When Ayesha returned to the 2-time MVP’s house, he offered to make the beverage himself. Ayesha was really impressed with Steph’s cooking skills when Steph said, “Yeah, I do it all the time.”

While Steph was preparing the beverage, his sister Sydel Curry walked down the stairs and noticed her brother using the dog food container to make the latte. Ayesha revealed that Steph was lying this whole time in an attempt to impress his future wife, “Look inside, there’s two coffee shop cups.” Ayesha said this about her husband’s lie, “So deceitful.” Steph planned the genius lie to bring two readymade cups of chai tea latte home and pretend to have made it himself. “His sister outed him.” Ayesha hilariously remarked.

Stephen Curry’s lie was not a deal-breaker

Fortunately, Steph’s lie about his cooking skills was not a deal breaker for Ayesha Curry. The couple continued dating and eventually tied the knot in 2011. 12 years later, Steph and Ayesha are parents to three beautiful children, and their bond is stronger than ever.
