The Phoenix Suns have a steady start to their 2023 season. Despite some impressive results and also some disappointing losses, the fanbase is yet to see coach Frank Vogel field a full starting lineup comprised of stars like Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. As the Suns prepare for their high-stakes matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, they are in for a huge shocker.

This would have been the perfect opportunity to capitalize on the 76ers’ internal problems. However, it looks like a 2021 NBA finalist will not take part in the encounter.

Devin Booker has suffered some injury problems over the past few months. The Suns’ coach delivered a heartbreaking update for the Suns’ fanbase just an hour before their game against the 76ers.

Booker will miss the game. According to sources on the internet, the 3-time NBA All-Star is nursing an ankle injury and will surely miss the game alongside the latest big-name signing, Bradley Beal.

Beal was brought in from the Washington Wizards in a blockbuster deal that sent Chris Paul to the Golden State Warriors. However, he is yet to make his debut for his new team.

Injured or not, Booker manages to stay in the limelight. When the Suns took on the San Antonio Spurs, he faced a lot of scrutiny from the media and the NBA fans on social media.

DBook was seen trash-talking to Jeremy Sochan during the game. It didn’t end well for the Suns and Booker, as Victor Wembanyama dropped a monstrous performance and helped his team win the game 132-121.

Booker has played 2 games out of the starting 5 fixtures. In those two games, he was instrumental in his team’s offensive front alongside two-time NBA champion Kevin Durant. Booker averages 31.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 10.5 assists.
