Draymond Green keeps the scuffles for the court. Away from the NBA, he is in those officiants’ shoes preventing fights. His press conference suffered the cutest interruption when his three-year-old daughter, Cash Green wanted his help. It appears her brother was mean to her and she wanted Dray to stop what he’s doing and help. For his little girl, Dray, of course, did.

Yeah, my love,” he called his daughter on the side and instantly we’re melting. Cash ran to him for a hug while whining, “He hit me with a ball.” DJ, Green’s son, defended himself, “Only because he pushed me.”

Green thought his kids were playing ball on the side. So he’s prodding Cash to figure out what they were doing before she got upset. “Y’all fighting a little bit?” With expertise no officiant in an NBA game can pull, Green sent her back with a request to, “Give your brother a hug.” And he also asked DJ to make up with a hug.

The cameras didn’t capture the hug but Green was apparently not satisfied, demanding DJ give his little sister a “real hug.” After thanking his kids for their co-operation, the 2017 DPOY went right back to answering the media’s questions.

We don’t even remember what the question was or what he said. Dub nation is overwhelmed by Draymond Green’s kids’ cuteness. Clearly, they’re comfortable with the press situation more than a seasoned NBA veteran.

Little Drays steal the show

It’s not uncommon for pint-sized NBA scions to barge in on team press conferences. Green’s little troublemakers have been the highlights of some Warriors press days. Last season, DJ stole the show from the team after they won 127-100 over the Lakers in Game 2. His kids were sitting with Draymond when he launched into a story about bringing his children to the gym and practice as extra motivation.

Or so Green wanted you to think. Because DJ corrected, “No, I wasn’t,” at any of his dad’s workouts. He played along initially but said, his other daughter, Olive was with him in the gym.

There was another instance of Cash interrupting too. In a presser after a foul-heavy game against the Pelicans, Cash popped up above the table and made a funny face. No one could remember her dad had a technical that night after that move. Draymond Green’s kids are scene-stealers for sure but he could apply his own tactics and hug it out with some of his rivals.
