With the Philadelphia 76ers already being in the headlines for the supposed betrayal of their star, James Harden, another former 76ers star spoke up about his betrayal story. The Brooklyn Nets’ emerging star forward has been lighting up the NBA in his debut postseason as a go-to player. He scored 30 points in Game 1 against the 76ers, demonstrating his worth as a franchise cornerstone and No. 1 option. The Warden was a first-round pick of the 76ers however; he got drafted to the Phoenix Suns on the draft night itself which was quite shocking. So on a podcast, he spoke about his and his mom’s feelings about the trade.

So I just thought I was a great fit for the team and was super geeked out.”
“You know, I think it’s probably actually one of the best things to that happened to me. So looking back it’s definitely great but it was really tough at that moment.” Then the interviewer joked to him about his mom being the head of HR for the 76ers and asked: “if she got any bonus or any benefits after trading their son?” To which Bridges laughed and said, “I don’t think so, she was pissed off too.” However, what did the 76ers get in return for this trade?
