She called the NBA “rigged for money” in a furious tweet which she later deleted. However, 7 years after this incident, the Curry family still seem to be taking jabs at James.

In a recent interview, Stephen Curry was asked to name his all time starting 5. He went on to make some intriguing choices. For the point guard position, he excluded himself to name the Los Angeles Lakers legend, Magic Johnson. However, for the small forward position, he interestingly chose another Lakers legend, Kobe Bryant. Bryant, although an undisputed legend in his own regard, traditionally played as a shooting guard.

This peaked the interest of Nick Wright, who questioned Curry’s choice on his show, First Things First.

LeBron James is considered by many as the greatest small forward of all time. The all time scoring leader in the NBA has definitely made a resume strong enough to back those claims. However, Stephen Curry seemed unimpressed.

Curry chose a shooting guard to play the small forward position on his ultimate starting 5, which irked Nick Wright. On his show, Wright went on to strongly question Curry’s choice. “It’s just a bad list,” he opined.

He further added, “Kobe is not a small forward…it’s just a bad list…just don’t make a list if you’re going to make a bad list. There’s only five questions on the test and you fail one of them, that ain’t great,” he strongly claimed.

However, Curry has already made his choice. Whether he was being competitive or paying homage to the “Black Mamba”, is unknown. But his choice seemed to be a subtle jab at the 4 time MVP, LeBron James.
