Currently, the Lakers‘ All-Around phenom is at 38,652 points. This sets him more than 250 points clear of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who is second on the list. Jabbar had the scoring title for 39 years. He first registered the number one spot in the all-time scoring list in 1984. He beat Wilt Chamberlain’s 31419 points record through his signature hook shot over shot-blocking phenom Mark Eaton. Meanwhile, LeBron James overtook the Lakers legend on February 7 this year. He nailed a high-post turnaround fadeaway over Oklahoma City Thunder‘s Kenrich Williams to move number one on the scoring list.

Finally, someone broke what looked like an unassailable record. A record that couldn’t be eclipsed by scoring phenoms Michael Jordan and Kobe BryantAnd next season will pave the way to splinter more records. NBA Skills Trainer and Black Ops Basketball personality shared what he termed as a ‘crazy stat’.

King James has tied Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most All-Star appearances with 19. If injuries stay away next season, he could easily make the 20th All-Star team and break this humongous record too! The skyhook phenom played in the league for 20 seasons and missed just one All-Star appearance. Meanwhile, LBJ has appeared in 19 consecutive All-Star games. Think about it, there has been no All-Star game since 2005 without King James. Although he has eclipsed Abdul-Jabbar in many regards. The Lakers Center still has supremacy in some aspects.
