There hasn’t been a more dominating and fearsome NBA lineup than the Warriors’ “Death Lineup”. The original Death Lineup consisted of Curry, Klay, Green, Barnes, and Iguodala. With the help of that lineup, the Warriors won the 2015 NBA Championship and also set the record for the most wins in the NBA regular season, with 73 wins. The second iteration of the death lineup was even more scary when Kevin Durant joined the team. The Warriors won two more championships with KD on their roster.
It looks like now the Warriors are planning on creating another fearsome lineup with 12x NBA All-Star.

The Warriors know that their window to contend for the NBA championship is very short. Most of their star players are on the wrong side of thirty. Their franchise cornerstone Stephen Curry is 35, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson are 33 and their newest recruit is a 38-year-old point guard, Chris Paul. The Warriors are also in talks with 3x DPOY Dwight Howard to join the roster. Howard provides certain skills that are much needed for this roster, namely rim protection, and presence in the paint.
Last season, the Lakers completely dominated the Warriors in the Western Conference semifinals. They had no answer to the size and power of Anthony Davis and LeBron James, and that is the reason Dwight Howard could prove to be useful for the new NBA Season. The Warriors also have some very promising young players on their roster. If given more time, players like Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, and Lester Quinones. No team should make the mistake of undermining the Warriors this season as they still possess one of the strongest rosters in the league.
CP3 and Draymond Working out Together
In a recent video that surfaced on social media, Warriors stars Draymond Green and the new recruit, Chris Paul can be seen working on some shooting drills. This obviously got the fans excited about the prospects of the Warriors’ title charge for the new NBA season.
Considering this, one fan pointed out that it can lead to “some beautiful basketball” in the coming months.
