“Russell (Westbrook) Is My Elephant”: After Revealing Contradictory Wedding Story, Clippers Star’s $50 Million Rich Wife Makes Intimate Revelation

The last few seasons have been tough for Russell Westbrook as he constantly battles prejudices surrounding his game. Westbrook hasn’t found a home since he left the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019. Russell Westbrook sat down for an interview with his wife Nina Westbrook for Nina’s YouTube channel. On Relationship Chronicles with Nina Westbrook, they shared a candid conversation and dived deep into various topics. One such topic was their favorite animal and what it signifies.

Nina said, “Elephant is my favorite animal because an elephant is so protective, family-oriented, and strong”. She added further “I don’t know if i wanna share this, it’s gotta be like a surprise. Anyhow, Russell is my elephant and I got a tattoo of an elephant on my arm as a representation of Russell”.

They also talked about their wedding. Nina alluded to the fact she didn’t have as much fun as Russell because Russ was “quite lit”. She added, “Russell had some sort of a deal worked out, where they would bring him shots every hour. So he was quite lit for our wedding. Me, on the other hand, I was talking to everyone. Everyone wanted to catch up. I was meeting family members I have never met before. I didn’t eat, I didn’t drink, and no one was looking out for me”.

Constant Support off the Court

Russ and Nina met during their time at UCLA, where Russell played college basketball. The couple got married in 2015 and have since welcomed three children: Noah (6) and twin daughters Jordyn and Skye (4) into their family. Nina Westbrook is a successful entrepreneur and registered nurse. And has been a source of unwavering support for Russell throughout his career.
