The Milwaukee Bucks might lose their 2-Time MVP

Giannis is on a 5-year $228 million contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, which he signed in 2020. With two years left on his contract, Giannis has a chance to re-sign with the team for another three years next month.

In an interview with the New York Times, Giannis addressed his contract extension and dropped a bomb on the Milwaukee Bucks. He hinted at the possibility of not re-signing with the Bucks if they do not have the same goal in mind, which is winning another championship.

After spending 10 years in Milwaukee, the 7-time All-Star does not want to be part of a rebuilding process. Giannis led the Bucks to their first NBA championship in 50 years when he beat the Phoenix Suns in 2021.

“I think it’s the best feeling that I’ve felt so far in basketball,” said the 2-time MVP about his first NBA title win. Giannis made it clear that he does not want to spend 20 years on the same team and not win another championship.
