The NBA world is buzzing with some stirring stories in the ongoing offseason. Whether it is significant trades and signings or the players’ antics, the NBA has been at the centre of attraction. One such came from the Los Angeles Lakers forward, Rui Hachimura which even had LeBron James cracking up.
Rui Hachimura recently confirmed his loyalty to King James by signing a $51M contract extension. The deal will keep Hachimura in Los Angeles for the next 3 years. But when invited to throw the ceremonial pitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers game, the Japanese native’s antics left James chuckling.

LeBron James has been very active on social media this off season. “The Chosen One” has either reacted to major NBA stories or has himself become a part of one. The NBA off season has clearly been very entertaining for the all time leading scorer in the NBA.
When the Lakers made major signings in the free agency market, James was there to post about each and every one of them. He shared images of almost every player that the Lakers signed on his Instagram stories welcoming them to the team. As expected, when Hachimura got cheeky throwing the ceremonial pitch at the Dodgers game, James shared his reaction to it on Instagram.

On James’ Instagram story, the legend shared a video of Hachimura’s antics and wrote “Man this dude is HILARIOUS”.

In the video that James shared, Hachimura is seen hyping up the crowd before throwing the first pitch. He was wearing a Dodgers shirt with “Black Samurai” written on the back which was also noticed by James.
Rui Hachimura is here to stay
Hachimura might be an entertaining personality off the court but on the court, he is a force to reckon with. The Japanese national was a force off the bench for the Lakers in their astounding Western Conference Finals run last season.

After being traded to the Lakers by the Washington Wizards mid season, Hachimura showed immense promise.
