If it were any other player who was playing in his 21 season, the whole league and the media would be mentioning it with bated breath. But not for LeBron James. Last year he broke Karim Abdul Jabbar?s scoring record, which was thought to be unattainable for a long time. Thus, it is a foregone conclusion that he would ease through Vince Carter?s longest NBA career record as well.

LeBron has participated in three Summer Olympics and has won two gold medals and a bronze. Will LeBron play in the Paris Olympics?
The US basketball team is in a similar state as they were after the 2004 Olympics. They came fourth in the FIBA Basketball World Cup, which was won by Germany. Once again, the calls for NBA veterans to step in are being made. There are rumors of Stephen Curry playing in the Paris Olympics, and even LeBron seems to have shown interest. But the only certainty as of now is that Joel Embiid will represent the US, instead of France. Joel Embiid has French citizenship as well.
