The first regular season game was pretty disappointing for LeBron James and the Lakers. With a 6-point victory, the Nuggets showed glimpses of the Western Conference Finals match-up. Nonetheless, history repeated itself and King James was evidently unhappy about it. Interestingly, Coach Prime was also among the spectators in the Ball Arena.
He attended the game with his son Buffaloes quarterback Sheduer Sanders. While his presence isn’t a surprise as the game took place in Colorado the home turf for both the Nuggets and Colorado Buffaloes, Deion Sanders’s courtside appearance garnered a seal of approval from LBJ.

In a video uploaded on Twitter, the Joker begins to look for LeBron for a handshake. Surprisingly King James and the Lakers were already headed for the exit. This goes to show how sour the Akron Hammer got on repeatedly losing to the Denver Nuggets. The defeat is especially crushing considering the fact that Anthony Davis went scoreless in the second half after managing 17 points in the first.
King James once again left without acknowledging the post-handshake tradition, walking out on the Grizzlies after a Lakers win. He had done the same earlier in 2021, but that time it followed a playoff loss to the Suns.
