The Phoenix Suns are well and truly back into the season. Following a rusty start and injury woes, the Valley side has found its footing. And Kevin Durant and Devin Booker’s records rain stands tall as proof. The Slim Reaper, who has his name regularly in the records book throughout the season, has now also dragged along his franchise leader, D-Book. Notably, the duo went on to join the elite club, which had the legendary Lakers duo, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal.

Tonight, Booker dropped 40+ points against the Orlando Magic, which is his 4th 40-pointer in the last six games. Moreover, it also helped the duo join the elite club. At least one of them has scored 40+ points in six straight games to join the club.

Apart from that, Kevin Durant moved up the ladder in two different leaderboards. During tonight’s game against the Magic, Durant moved up to 19th spot in the All-Time three-points with 1951 3PM.

And, he entered the top-10 club for the All-Time scoring leaders with 28,000 points. Moreover, considering the points difference, the 2x NBA Champion can reach up to 8th spot within this season. Along with that, he can also climb the 3-point ladder to reach the 15th spot as well.

Despite making a mark in the history books, the day didn’t end well for the Suns duo, as they fell short against the Magic. The home side put up a defensive exhibition, allowing only 13 points in the last quarter. The teams stepped into the fourth quarter, anticipating an evenly poised attack. But, the Magic had an entirely different game, as they entirely dried up the buckets for the Suns.

The Magic silenced the Big-3

The home side gave a teaser of the 4th quarter assault in the second quarter. The Suns had a flying start, dropping 37 points in the first quarter. The Magic immediately responded with a tight defense and allowed only 19 points in the second quarter.

However, Devin Booker‘s 44-point run helped the team have a chance at the game in the fourth quarter. But the Orlando side shut their visitors with an air-tight defense. Apart from KD and Booker, none of the Suns’ players scored in double digits. Meanwhile, the Magic had five players scoring in double digits, led by Paolo Banchero with 26 points.
