The New York Knicks vs Los Angeles Lakers match is a treat for sore eyes. The Knicks won the match,114-109, a close margin, surely not an easy one considering their competition. With Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson taking the leads in the points department, with 27 and 29 respectively, Immanuel Quickly also wasn’t that far behind with 20 points. Together, they ensured a harmonious victory over Anthony Davis (32 pts) and LeBron James (25 pts).

But this isn’t something that we’re looking at right now. During the match, something else caught everyone’s attention. It was a furry little friend, patiently witnessing the Knicks win.

“There is a dog right in the front row”, exclaimed the commentators while speculating if he’s rather interested in seeing the Lakers shooting. Fans were quick to notice this brief clip of the furry little baby, too. Looking at how relaxed the pup was, @SbondyNBA was quick to point out the dog can probably stay till the end, unlike Emily Ratajkowski. He wrote, “And ready to stay to the end unlike emily ratajkowski”.

But, what’s even more amusing is the fact that the service dog in the Tweet above is now dancing and grabbing eyeballs. Fans and audiences cannot stop looking at the fur baby dance among them.

As much as we love the dog, we can’t help but not ignore the references people are making towards Emily Ratajkowski.

Why all the buzz around Emily and the dog?

Well, the story dates back to November 24th, when Emily and her supermodel friend, Irina Shayk, were at Madison Square Garden witnessing the enthralling match between Miami Heat and the New York Knicks. Both of them were sitting courtside during the In-Season tournament, when the Knicks started falling to the losing side, by 21 points. In fact, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo also went off early during the game.

It was then when Jalen Brunson and Immanuel Quickley brought the game dynamics back to their team in the 4th quarter, with the Knicks winning that game 100-98. A close score, and a rather exciting one. Without a doubt, it was the Knicks’ best this season. But what offended people was that Emily and Irirna left before Knicks made history this season. They both left the MSG before the game even ended. So, they basically disrespected the Knicks by doing this, and now, they’re no longer allowed to get free tickets for anything at the MSG. They are still welcome, nobody’s denying them that right, but they will have to purchase the tickets to witness any match.

Emily Ratajkowski will now be forced to purchase tickets at MSG, and it surely won’t be an easy task. Bagging courtside tickets at the Madison Square Garden to witness the Knicks, who are getting stronger and stronger this season, is like digging into a gold mine. They are exorbitantly priced and likely to be sold out within a few minutes.

After the match was over, Mike Breen even went ahead to causally point out how people should not leave a game early. He specifically said, “In today’s NBA, with a 3-point shot, you’re nuts to leave the game early”.

Was this a dig at the supermodels leaving the Knicks match early? It could be, it could be not! Pretty ambiguous. Just like Mike, there are more and more fans who cannot avoid the connections here. Look at what they’ve pointed out.

Fans aren’t done yet!

With the dog on the courtside to Emily denied a free pass, there’s just so much going on with Knicks matches. Here’s some of the fun fans are having on X.

A fan wrote, “Ben Schwartz at Knicks Lakers game……watching a dog……watching Kevin Bacon.”

Another wrote,I wonder how much the dog had to pay for his courtside seats at the @Lakers game tonight.”
