The Kings forward Murray was showcasing a power-packed performance against the Jazz. He notched 12 3-pointers and achieved a career-high 47 points. His excellence included a franchise-record 26 points in the third quarter.

Murray’s outstanding display of 12 out of 13 three-point attempts positioned him as a potential challenger to Klay Thompson‘s NBA record of 14 three-pointers. However, the decision by former Kings coach Brown to have Murray rested stirred frustration among fans, prompting demands for his return.

One of the fans wrote, “Klay broke the 3-point record shooting 14-24 from 3. Keegan Murray is 12/13 from 3. Put him back in.” Another wrote, “Mike brown what if Keegan Murray never hit 12 threes again in a game you gotta let him go for the record.”

Fans felt betrayed as Brown’s one decision robbed the player of his chance to shine. A chance that could have allowed him to etch his name in history. Having nearly clinched Thompson’s record, fans found it hard to swallow the fact that he was taken out.

Well, the Sacramento Kings were able to clinch an impressive 125-104 against the Utah Jazz. Domantas Sabonis also showed his best with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. Murray is one of the best offensive players and he is displaying his prowess in every game he has played so far.

Jazz coach Will Hardy also has a similar opinion about his game. He said, “Keegan never let us off the hook. Every time you make a mistake, he makes the shot.
