Amid the three-game losing streak, the veteran point guard took his time out to witness his daughter’s high school basketball game. Moreover, he just didn’t watch the game but also kept his rivalry aside and gave a shout-out to Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum.

The Bay Area team failed to capitalize on their 5-game winning streak start to the season. Despite Stephen Curry’s consistent performances in every game, the superstar still requires help from the supporting cast. CP3, who takes care of the Dubs’ second unit, is also yet to explode in the offense corner. In the meantime, he went on to fulfill his father duties.

Chris Paul gives shout-out to Jayson Tatum

Hours after the infuriating loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves at home, Chris Paul went to Campbell Hall School in California to watch his daughter’s first playoff game. Notably, she won it too. Paul took to his Instagram stories, shared a picture of the school game, and wrote, “My girl got her first playoff win today and I got to see it.”

Moreover, in the next story, he shouted out to Celtics All-Star Jayson Tatum. Paul’s daughter wore the Celtics star’s signature sneakers for the game and he displayed it to his fans. The caption on the story read, “And she reppin in her JT’s!!”

Considering Paul’s playoff record in the NBA, he would be proud of his daughter’s first baby steps on the knockout stage.
