Kevin Durant will return to play against the Memphis Grizzlies. After missing 3 games that witnessed the Suns go 1-2, Durant will join the Big 3, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal again to help the team get back to winning ways. The 13x All-Star has had an MVP-level season, averaging 29.9 PPG, 6.3 RPG and 6 APG.

The Slim Reaper has struggled with health for the past few years of his career, often missing a heavy share of games. This year too, Durant has missed 7 games already, giving him only 10 games to maintain his chances of winning the MVP award again. However, with his return against the Grizzlies, Durant will have a chance to strengthen his MVP case for this season.

The Suns struggled in Durant’s absence, losing to the Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Heat. They managed to win against the Portland Trail Blazers who currently hold the 14th position in the Western Conference. Durant’s return is crucial for the Suns to revive their season and make a championship push.

While Devin Booker has stayed relatively healthy over the past few years, Beal and KD have yet to play over 65 games in a season since 2019. This concern may hold the Big 3 back, given their championship aspirations this season. While on the court, the trio looked on song, winning 2 of 4 games played together. Although they started off with 2 heartbreaking losses, winning 2 games back-to-back put them right back on track. Now, Booker, Beal, and Durant will need to maintain this momentum against the Grizzlies to stand a chance of reviving their season.
