Luke Lennard, Marcus Smart, and Derrick Rose have been out of the Grizzlies ranks and it has been affecting them deeply. Morant’s return will bring some respite. The Grizzlies are carrying the baggage of a game-losing streak. Ja Morant is going to pair with his all-favourite buddy Desmond Bane. During the tough time, Desmond has been like a lone fighter. Karen Jackson Jr. and Xavier Tillman will be on the frontline. Vince Williams Jr. and Jacob will try to soldier the perimeter.
Pelicans are riding high on confidence due to their four consecutive wins and a better season record of 16-11. For the Pelicans, the expected lineup has not changed much in the past. Pelicans fans love Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, Herb Jonas, Valanciunas, and VJ McCollum coming to create magic from the start. Fans of the Grizzlies are banking upon Morant to get them back on the track but how effective he will be for a struggling side?

Will Ja Morant bring back the fire?

Morant missed 25 games after he went on to show a gun on Instagram Live several times. Also, he was charged with hitting a teenager in ‘self-defense’. His comeback will be a boost to the side if not a cure to all the woes. Though he has been going through counseling sessions to do well as a person, basketball fans would never want his inner fire on the basketball court to die down.
